Yeast Infection Causes And How To Treat It
When faced with a yeast infection, it comes with low self esteem and low confidence for a lot of women.
A yeast infection is caused by Candida Albicans, which will occur if there is too much of this fungus in the body. This fungus loves places that are moist like in the mouth and in the vagina.
There are a lot of factors that can trigger a yeast infection, factors such as imbalances in the body that caused by hormones. Other factors than can result in a yeast infection include:
- Using antibiotics and steroids for too long
- If one suffers from diabetes
- If one is on diet pills
- If one is taking birth control pills
- If someone has an immune system that is weak
- Hormonal imbalances in the body that are caused by things like menopause, menstruation and pregnancy.
Stress can also trigger an infection because it puts the body under strain which may lead the body to react in a negative way, compromising the immune system.
The way you can help your body to fight off the yeast infection is by learning to deal with your stress. There are ways to do this that include exercising, doing yoga or just learning how to calm yourself down using breathing techniques.
You can try to boost your immune system by making sure it is strong. You can do this by eating healthily as well as drinking adequate amounts of water. This is important because water will cleanse your body off the toxins that are there, which will in turn improve your colon and digestive system.
