Meditation also helps a person to lose weight or cure addictions, like smoking, alcohol, or non prescribed drugs. Some people learn meditation to alleviate many stress related illnesses. Clinical studies show that meditation helps lower blood pressure, reduces anxiety, cures insomnia, and lowers respiratory rates.
