The Latest Success University Scam And What You Can Do About It
With the recent merger of Success University and World Ventures, many business builders have felt like the rug has been pulled out from underneath them and have no where to go. But is there anything that they can do about it?
First a little background. Success University was founded in a couple years ago by Matt Morris. It touted itself as a personal development and mindset success MLM opportunity.
Really, it was one of the first major MLM companies to embrace internet network marketing and specifically designed its introductory package to make its offer extremely friendly.
However, in June 2009, Matt Morris decided to merge Success University with World Ventures, a travel related MLM.
This absolutely caused many Success U. students and business builders to feel like they have been scammed. After all, the merger to many does not make sense as the two businesses are not complimentary in nature.
So what can any Success University students learn about it?
Unfortunately, this has become all too common in the MLM industry as ownership and businesses are created, merged, and change, much like what happened here.
Hopefully, as one of their business builders you developed your own list of prospects and really learned how to market to opportunity yourself, rather than simply relying on the company itself to market the opportunity.
If not its a lesson learned then. Building your own list of targeted prospects who are attracted to you first, and then your MLM opportunity second is the best long term approach.
One needs to learn proper marketing techniques like lead generation, copywriting and relationship building, all making the focus of your list yourself first instead of with the company.
