Pimples, zits and spots, there are many conditions for it, but the scenario is the same acne. Most of us have experienced acne or have had friends who have experienced acne during adolescence and teenage life. Acne is mostly seen during these ages, it can continue into adult hood. Like the common cold, why acne occurs with some and does not occur to others is not clearly known. However, there may be hereditary reasons for acne occurrences. Acne can also be caused due to stress and use of anabolic steroids. Normally, the accumulation of dead skin is also considered to be a reason of acne. One of the main causes of acne still remains the formation of bacteria in the pores.

There are certain myths related to acne. One famous myth is that Acne is caused due to bad hygiene. This myth may have gained ground because of the blackheads, which seem like dirt stuck at the opening of the pores.

A definite cure for acne is now available. There are a number of cures for acne, and one can choose which the best is for them. One of the most famous cures for acne is the Laser treatment, where laser surgery is used to burn away the sebaceous gland producing the oil that causes acne. Laser surgery is also used to burn away the follicle sac on which the pimple grows. It can also be used to kill the bacteria, simply by the formation of oxygen in the bacteria.

Acne can also be cured using OTC bactericidal products that contain benzoyl peroxide. Other cure for acne includes oral antibiotics and topical antibiotics. Topical and oral retinoid are also used as cures for acne. A special kind of therapy, Phototherapy and Photodynamic therapy is also sometimes used to combat acne.

Sometimes, azelaic acid is used to cure mild comedonal acne. It is available under many brand names.

Today, the Internet has come out with some good solutions for treating acne. One method called natural acne cure has met with an amazing degree of success. Acne no more is actually an advisory method, a therapy that needs to be followed from a book. The results acne no more has shown till now are almost hundred percent.
