Near Truth

By:   |   Jul 08, 2018   |   Views: 13   |   Comments: 0

System had failed, but he was alive
moving from depression to schizophrenia,
resilient, not surrendering
existing in actions
trying to realize
that he was not down, as yet.
A continuity of meaninglessness
interrupted his tethered life,
what he did not think.

He mumbles -
why he was not light to himself
when everybody was shining?
Attachment was always painful.
He wanted to go back to cave
cold and peeled off,
to see in dark, the hooves
on the walls
A timeless exhibition of nakedness.

An eternal invisible aura
surrounds the lonely house
demands the wages of understanding.
Truth was never near.
