Natural Remedies Acne
There are several natural remedies acne that you can use to help control your acne outbreaks and prevent future outbreaks.
Using fresh mint, crush the leaves into a pulp with a mortar and pestle or food processor.Â Apply the mixture to the area of your outbreak.Â Let it set for 10 minutes.Â Rinse gently and completely with lukewarm water.
Make an oatmeal mask by adding water until it is soupy.Â Apply it to your face, or area of outbreak.Â Let it stay on your face for about 15 minutes.Â Rinse off gently and completely with lukewarm water.
Willow bark is a natural source of salicylic acid, the same ingredient found in many commercial preparations.Â Apply it gently to the pimples themselves.Â It will help to kill off the bacteria causing the inflammation.
Tea Tree Oil
Tea tree oil seems to be a natural antibiotic.Â It will either kill the bacteria outright, or weaken them enough for your body's own immune system to destroy them.
Lavender is a fantastic natural herb to use in your fight against acne. You can mix lavender oil and rosewater to have a very good remedy for acne. Apply a small amount to the area where you have your problem outbreak. One fantastic side effect of lavender is that it has a really good fragrance.
You should always wash the affected areas 2 times a day to remove the oils.Â There are several all natural soaps on the market that would be good for this.
