Massage is a touch and feel therapy being used since old ages. Kings and queens used to get their skin toned and refreshing effect by getting it massaged by oil. It is a very reliable, quick and cheaper way of medical treatment which can be done even at home and by family members also. It relieves you of aches, pain, tiredness, improvement in nervous system, anxiety and depression reduction and it can be done even without any reason. Some resort to massage therapy just for fun and relaxation and go for it every week or fortnight.

Massage can be done at any part of the body and it is done through oil like sesame oil, coconut oil, olive oil, almond oil, etc, flour or any lotion. It can be done with any sitting position and normally in unclothed condition. It relaxes the tension in joints, tissues and muscles and the person feels light. If some salt is added to the oil and this mixture is used in massage, it works as an excellent cleanser and helps in removing dead skin. After massage, a light shower works as a miraculous remedy in removing tiredness and even for having a good and sound sleep.

Many books and researches have proved that massaging from a partner is a very good agent in romance arousal and bettering the relationship between the two. It comprises one of the most popular techniques in spas and saloons and people are fond of massage therapy in many countries. It forms the essence of Ayurvedic and old medical techniques.
