Here are 5 simple strategies that you can use immediately to help slow down the ageing process in your body:

1. Eat less.

By reducing your overall food intake you can reduce the stress being placed on the digestive system as well as the impact insulin has on the body. However, it is important that you don't restrict your nutrient intake. Therefore, nutrient-rich, calorie-sparse foods are the best foods to include in your diet, i.e. vegetables and fruits.

2. Reduce the 'free radical load' on your body.

Reducing the impact free radicals have on your body means that it will function better. It also means that you will have more energy, improve your health and may even reduce your risk of disease. Reducing your free radical load may be done easily by consuming antioxidants. Antioxidants are found in normal, everyday foods like, fruits, vegetables and unprocessed oils. 3. Perform a regular resistance exercise program.
