Living by Emotional Intelligence
Ever since I got to grips with Emotional Intelligence, it has made my life easier in so many ways. No it doesn't mean knowing when to turn on and off the tears! I used to think anything to do with emotions involved tears!
But it does explain the nine negative emotions and the three positive ones we can be experiencing at any given time.
Â We may not even be aware of which one it is either. The six negative ones are apathy, grief, fear, lust, anger and pride; the three positive ones are courage, acceptance and peace.
When we are living in any of the six negative energies, we use up reserves of energy, tire more quickly, create problems for ourselves and can feel ill. Sometimes we just feel stuck.
When we are in any of the three positive energies, we will achieve more, feel better and remain calm, relaxed and happy in all that we do. This is because we are living at a higher energy vibration and therefore attract more positive experiences and feelings into our life.
I have learned that by recognising when I am in a negative emotion, I can chose to raise my energy into a higher positive one at any given time. This is the secret to happiness and contentment because everything just seems to fall into place easily.
This is a very simplified account of how I use emotional intelligence effectively. It keeps stress away and helps me sleep better. In fact I only require two thirds of the sleeping hours I used to. Others say I look younger than my years and rarely do I get upset about anything.
