How Using Positive Thoughts and Words Are Crucial to Your Success
Have you ever said something and right after you said it, you said to yourself, "I wish I had never said that" for one reason or another, whether it was a positive or negative comment. But there is no way to take it back.
It is done.
Your words are the window to your soul. Your tongue will control the direction of your life. Just think of it as the rudder of a ship. The rudder is very small compared to the size of the ship, but if the rudder is not working, the ship will just float with no direction.
Your words will control your life, either in the negative or the positive.
If you are a person that is always thinking negative thoughts, all your actions are going to be negative, and although you may not think that is what is happening, it is.
If you are a person who has positive thoughts, all your actions are going to be positive.
Work on using positive words. Some examples of how you can change your words are:
Instead of saying "I need", say "I deserve."
Never use the phrase "I'm trying." The word trying gives you an out, so if you do not finish something, you can say "Well, I tried."
Instead of saying "I hope", say "I will."
Instead of saying "I wish", say "I will."
Instead of saying the word "if" say" when."
This is just a short list of phrases that you can focus on. Think of other negative phrases that you use and do what you can to turn them positive.
Choose your words and thoughts carefully.
Say to yourself at different times during the day "There is a great plan for me today." Tell that little person on your shoulder to "sit down, I am in control today." Tell yourself "I am getting better every day."
Have a definite plan.
The more positive your words, the faster you will get what you deserve.
What you say in the midst of difficult times will determine how long you will stay stuck.
