How To Eliminate Back Pain Without Drugs
There are several ways to get rid of back pain without taking drugs. In my opinion, drugs are the absolute worst remedy for back pain if you can even call them a remedy at all. I know lots of people who take them and have been for years, yet they still complain about back pain every day and can't participate in fun activities like tennis or golf. Every month, however, they are still at the pharmacy buying more drugs! Wake up people, there is a better way! It requires a little more effort than pills, but the reward is far, far greater. If you want to rid yourself of back pain forever, don't rely on pills, read the following information.
The solutions for how to eliminate back pain without drugs are as follows. As you can see, there are several methods, each very effective in its own right. If you combine two or more of them, however, your results will be even better!
Exercise: The key is not just exercising, but exercising the right way. If you do it the wrong way, you will only make your problems worse. You need to focus on the problem areas of your back and strengthen the muscles around those areas. Back problems are usually do to your muscles having to kick in and stabilize your body where your discs, ligaments, and vertebrae have failed. If your lower back is your problem, for example, doing reverse sit-ups (there is a machine at just about any gym for this) with very light resistance and lots of reps will tone and strengthen those muscles. Building strong lat muscles will also buttress your mid-spine and keep it from being overworked, leading to tension and pain.
Chiropractic: While medical doctors certainly have a very important role in treating illness, I am a huge, huge fan of alternative forms of therapy, especially chiropractic. The reason I like chiropractic is instead of just prescribing drugs to treat the symptoms, a good chiropractor can rid you of the actual ailment from which you are suffering. The key is to only go with a good chiropractor, meaning one who has a great reputation in your area and track record of successfully treating others.
Inversion Therapy: If you're just going to use one method, use this one. In addition to being the most effective, it is the least time-consuming and requires the least effort. I do it at home in about 5-10 minutes per day. I use a contraption called an inversion table which enables me to invert my body to a specified angle. This allows gravity to decompress my spine and put my vertebrae back into alignment, which relieves pressure on the nerves, discs, and muscles, and takes away my back pain completely. It really does work and I am living proof.
Those, in my opinion, are the best ways to get rid of back pain without taking drugs. Even though they require more effort than just taking a pill or two every day, the benefits you receive are far greater and you will find the effort is well worth it.
