Home Remedies For Treating Acne

Acne is one of the prominent problems of teenagers, which snatches away their beauty, appearance and confidence.  Even adults are also sufferer of this problem. So it becomes very necessary to treat this problem in time otherwise acne leaves scars and blemishes on the faces. If you go for allopathic medicines for curing acne, then for sure you may get results in very short span of time, but you have to bear expensive fees of doctor as well as need to ready to face the side effects of these medications as well.

On the other hand if you prefer herbal remedy, then may be results will come a little later, but it will be very economic, safe as well as devoid of side effects. When you will go in deep you may notice that each herb possess some medicinal property, and there are many herbs that are beneficial for curing acne.

The combination of burdock leaves and cleaver leaves are used to treat acne. 15-20 leaves of both are grinded, boiled with a glass of water and filtered. It is consumed daily for about a month or so.

Take 2 drops of lavender oil and 10 drops of water or rosewater and mix them. Apply this solution twice daily on the face for 20 minutes. You will see a rapid improvement in acne in a week. Lavender oil treats acne and also nourishes the skin leaving it soft, supple and clear.

Take 2 cloves of garlic and mesh them. Make a fine paste out of it. Now before taking bath apply the paste on the affected area for 20 minutes for 2-3 days. Now wash the face with clean water. As garlic possesses antibacterial properties, hence it will treat the acne in 2-3 days.

Tea tree oil is also a good antibacterial agent for treating acne carefully. It can be found in any of the health food stores. Dilute 2 drops of lavender oil in 10 drops of water. Apply this solution on the face two times daily for 30 minutes. It will kill all the acne causing bacteria and will sooth and cleanse the skin.
