Dexbrompheniramine (Drixoral) is a combination medicine containing the antihistamine with anticholinergic properties used to treat allergic conditions such as hay fever or urticaria. It is the pharmacologically active dextrorotatory isomer of Brompheniramine. Drixoral is manufactured by Schering-Plough and is unavailable in the US.
Drixoral medicine is used to treat symptoms associated with colds and allergies such as itchy and watery eyes, nasal and sinus congestion, runny nose and sneezing. Drixoral discontinued in the US is still available in Canada. Drixoral Canada can be procured from online pharmacies.

Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant during treatment as Drixoral may be harmful to an unborn baby. Consult your doctor before using Drixoral if you are breast-feeding a baby.
Consult your doctor if your symptoms do not improve after 7 days of treatment, or if you have a fever, headache, cough, or skin rash.

Missing a dose/Overdose-What happens?
You should not take Drixoral to make up the missed dose. In case of an overdose you should seek emergency medical attention immediately.
Symptoms of Drixoral cold allergy medicine overdose may include feeling restless or nervous, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth, warmth or tingly feeling, or seizure (convulsions).
