Constipation - An at Home Technique
Constipation is when you have a bowel movement fewer than three times per week. The stools are usually hard, dry, small in size, and you strain to eliminate. Normal stool elimination can vary and you may eliminate a number of times during the day or only three times a week.
Constipation is one of the most common gastrointestinal complaints. Constipation is a symptom of a poor diet, lack of water, exercise, etc.
Another cause of constipation can be a value that is stuck called the ileo-cecal valve. The ileo-cecal valve is a small muscle located between the small and large intestine. It is found on the right side of the body and is a one way value that allows the food to pass from the small intestine to the large intestine. If the muscle is stuck in the closed position it can cause constipation as the food can not pass into the large intestine for elimination.
This condition is related to improper eating and stress. This can affect the condition of the whole body as toxins remain too long in the body.
The valve is located two inches below the right hip and then another two inches left of that position. Or approximately, 3 inches below your belly button and to the right 2 inches. Using a closed fist, massage the area with medium pressure in a clockwise position for approximately 10 seconds. You can tell if you are in the right position because it will be slightly tender. This can be done as often as necessary. It can usually help consipation within approximately 1 hour.
