If, say for instance, the impacted ear wax is the cause, you should let the expert do the job of removing it. Acute ear infections may also result into ringing ears. On the other hand, there are also some people that say tinnitus in one ear comes from depression and stress and the experts agree with this. In addition to that, the condition can also rise from the low level of serotonin activity, serious head injuries from accidents, high intake of caffeine or alcohol, salty diet and nicotine. But the most common cause of ringing in one ear is the disorder otology.

Most probably, one of the best ways to minimize your tinnitus in one ear problem is to have a change in your lifestyle. There have been studies that show the condition is the result from having a poor diet and no exercise at all. Thus, you should reduce or avoid processed foods, caffeinated or even alcoholic drinks. Instead, incorporate more fresh fruits and vegetables in your daily meals, lean meat and fish. Do 30 minutes of exercises that increases your heart rate daily.

It is still best to have a wide understanding of how ringing in one ear develops. Above all, if you experience constant ringing in one ear or both ears, do not panic because there are remedies for treating tinnitus.
