A good teaser article should provide a problem, give hints of the solution an direct the reader to the sales page for the closing. Using an article directory for a sales pitch to your product or service will lead to your article getting rejected. There is a fine line between a recommendation and a sales pitch. A well optimized affiliate products home page that promotes several niche products that are related also can increase conversions. You don't want to promote more than five products, but giving your visitors a choice of products will create more sales. Place an autoresponder on your site to capture visitors email address that do not buy from you initially. Most customers will not make a purchase until the seventh time viewing a product, so creating an email campaign of at least 7 follow up messages will increase your chance getting a sale.

A well constructed promotional campaign takes a time, effort, and some crafty marketing. To keep your click-through rates high, take the time out to improve your skills. Split test your ads to find out which ads are producing the highest conversion rates. In the end the efforts you put forward will reflect in your conversion rates.
