Learning how to rebuild and maintain your self-confidence is essential to having a fulfilled life. There will always be things that come along and make you question if you are good enough. When that happens to you, using these tools will get you back in touch with your personal power.True self-confidence is not easy as it does not get accuired overnight by a simple decision you make to boost your confidence, it is a step in the right direction though.

By Recognizing your insecurities you will be able to face your fears head on, as the quote by Eleanor Roosevelt goes, "You gain strenght, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You must do the thing which you think you can not do."Remember nobody is perfect reality will always bring us bumps in the road and we have to do our best to overcome them, when not overcoming it to your satisfaction, keep that always in mind. Everybody makes mistakes, even the people who look to be perfect to us.

Talks about your insecurities will anable you to deal with it more clearly and the hurdles in life will seem so much smaller out of the perspective of friends and family. Write down everything you are insecure about and eliminate them by accepting the impossible, do not set yourself limits and targets that you know you cannot reach. Always identify your successes by allowing yourself to be proud of achievements and successes. Everybody is born with strenght and talent, some people just choose to ignore the fact that they are doing well and they need to develop and excel in their God given talent.

Be positive and avoid self-pity or other people's pity. Nobody is inferior and you can only feel inferior if you allow yourself to be. Never belittle yourself to other people or even to yourself! Be Thankful for anything you have, thus enabeling yurself to feel complete and satisfied, instead of yearning for what might be the impossible. Accept compliments with pride and grace. Nobody will compliment you for something that is not well done.

Acknowledge your successes for what they are. A personal achievement and deserving of compliments. Stick to your Principles is one of the most important aspects of rebuilding or maintaining self-confidence. If you do not have principles, you will not have anything. Helping Others will give your self-confidence a boost as it will enable you to make a positive difference in someone else's life, just as you would like to be helped positively when a hurdle comes your way.

Improve you self-image by changing the way your lifestyle predicts, if you are over weight, go on a diet or decide to like yourself as you are and others will feel the same way too. Changing your hairstyle or hair color or shaping up your wardrobe is excellent therapy for anyone. Start following an excersize routine with a group of friends will do wonders for your health, body and self-confidence.
